While there might be a number of people that are bisexual because it's trendy as Bod[or whatever]dington mean, that's not very likely to explain all that could be said to be bisexual.

There where the same kind of views about homosexuality where it just was an unnatural result of a degenerated culture. There's some christian groups that still hold this view (only in America... ).

Since it would be absurd to say that all those in some way choose to be gay (considering all the trouble it still leads to) the same could be said about bisexuals.

There's of cource hard to say exacly what makes anyone to be gay, bisexual, or hetrosexual for that matter. Long times in a prison or on a ship could possibly lead to a preference switch. But that's quite complex to understand and explain. One could argue that homosexuality in prisons in some way could be more about power that sexuality (in the same way rapes in many ways also could be about power)...

Well I didn't choose o be gay to be 'trendy'. I spent a few years having a LOT of trouble dealing with it, praying to God because I thought there was something wrong with me.

Now where were we...yes...bisexuals. Well I suppose it is someone who possesses a sexuality where they are attracted to both males and females. But rigid stereotyping of sexuality is not the way to go anyway, in my opinion. All humans possess sexuality, that seems to be the top and bottom of the situation we have.

I voted "no preference" as that most closely reflects my interpretation of the term.
Bisexual to me means someone who doesn't pick partners on the basis of their sex, but whether they find them attractive regardless of their sex.

Bisexuality is a sexual orientation, just like heterosexuality or homosexuality. All three sexual orientations deserve equal, legitimate recognition. None of them are a fad or a trend -- you obviously chose your words to deliberately offend some people.
