I'm with myself on this one.

Why doesn't the Canadian Secretary of Snobisity (Delightful Defense? I don't know) complain about how America is "wasting" his country's money in support costs by not using its troops already in the region?
We are using the resources they have that prove useful to our various opperations, ie Canadian snipers are taking part in this particular opperation while the rest of the Canadian forces defend the Kahndahar (sp) Airport. Are there Canadian resources in Afghanistan that you feel should be put to use in Opperation Anaconda? If so, which ones and why?

I just did. Sent him an email to say that i want to see at least 3 Canadian casualties a day (+ a couple of serious injuries).
I'm done paying for these guys to go there and - can you believe it - actually have the nerve to come back here alive.

          What?

            Well it is Americas problem...

I dont really support the military alliance of europe with the US in Afghanistan.
It is wrong that it was an atack against "the whole free civilizest world". It was an atack against the US and the US only.
The islamic Fundamentalists hate the US (and Israel) not Europe.

Therefor it is a US problem not a Europe one, the US have enough power to solve their problems without the aid of Europe.
            We shouldnt have gotten envolved.

It is reasonable that after Europe is envolved dispite that, US soldiers should take the main risk (but well not US soldiers but allied afghan soldiers take it by now - noone cares about their looses).

The new Trade-War against Europe from Bush shows that it doesnt pay to be his ally.

It's called 'Anaconda' because the Taliban and Al Qaeda in these areas are being slowly crushed in an ever decreasing noose around their necks...

Not to harp on again with a, by now, old argument, but if the US of A had that attitude after the end of the second WW you'd be eating borscht and singing the Soviet National anthem right now ... Comrade...

I can say this as I'm not American and haven't said it before.
That and derek doesn't seem to be around right now ...

They should do what we do and pick the next name in a Codename list...then you'd end up with really great names, like our version of Desert Storm was something like "Jeremy"...

While the opposition is pissing themselves laughing at the ridiculous codename, you can pick them off with ease!

As for the rest of the topic...bollocks!

It's the bad politics of a British soldier dying that keep them from sending someone in one of these choppers on the front lines..and that's too bad.
I think you'll find that British guys are there(they were from the begining) and have been dying just as much as anyone else. You won't hear about it though. And it's something we take for granted in these situations.

Why is it that people like you and Horse complain when we take off the terrorist commie dog bastard's hats for security reasons but not when one of our captured spec ops troops is dragged away and murdered in disgusting violation of the Geneva Convention by the Taliban in Afghanistan? JUST FOR THAT you deserve to be LAUGHED AT BY A PRIEST, ROBBED BY A POLICE OFFICER, and BITTEN BY A ZOOKEEPER.
