Look kid, when you want to talk about spending real money on real possessions, then come and brag. But "I spent over $1,000 on a bunch of worthless crap and drugs" doesn't exactly make you enviable on my part. Makes you sound pitiful, actually.

I mean, you act like a thousand bucks is big money. Get real!

You profit $25k on an 18 month house purchase and that's something to talk about. But spending a measly grand?

Btw, real men don't ask mommy's help to buy themselves a car. Real men buy cars for their mommies.

Yeah well you're just some ****** who couldn't spend more than a 15$ allowance as a teen. I can tell. I'm a 19 year old who will be making more than your family tree within 5 years.

So run along to the candy store, junior! I hear some of the wonka bars have gold tickets in 'em

Remember something important Zylka, there is far, far more to life than money. Money does not buy your happiness. And you can't take it to the grave with you when you are gone. Perspective, my friend, perspective.

I know... and I don't pride myself all that much with spending money (well, not enough to warrant attacks from John T, at least). I'm just having a little fun and hoping others would share.

Funny though.. fight club came to my mind a few nights ago.. What a well done antithesis of this whole concept

You show your stupidity by using slurs such as ******. I suppose you hate n**gers too.

It came out months ago that Zylka is actually a repressed bisexual. His hostility should not surprise you.

Yeah both. Stupid and repressed Bi.

It's just that growing up it was natural to use that term in the derogatory sense. Now that it has no intrinsic meaning of "homosexual" (the fashion of hating Gay people grew old fast), it has simply turned into a term for "bad" (which was, at first, coupled with Gay). In short, ******=f*ckhead=as*hole etc., not gay person. I am sorry for letting this lapse of my youth leak into my supposed mature age. Given this explanation, will you hold me accountable for stupid mistakes as a kid? Probably.

Sorry, Zylka. Other than the coke, you actually came away with assets from your little buying spree. True moronic splendour only lies in spending obscene amounts on ephemera which are gone almost as soon as you buy them. $750 on "private lap dances" from a stunning and skanky duo for a friend at his stag. That was money well spent.
What's so funny 'bout peace, love and understanding?

You took 3 hours to come up with this? I'm impressed.

Hmmm. My "family tree" makes approximately $3.5 million a year:

                            Sister1: $100k
                            Sister2: $500k
                            Moi: $70k
                            Brother: $35k
                            Parents: $700k
                            Uncle: $1.1m
                            Maternal Grandparents: $950k
                            Paternal Grandparents (both are deceased)

Of course, this is household income and not assets. Assets are far, far higher - why, my grandmother alone is worth $13mil. Laura's and mine are in the low 6 figures, which is fine as we are (we hope!) still young.

Actually, I never got an allowance; instead opting for my first job when I was 13.

I find it interesting that you accuse me of "attacking" you when in this thread you have insulted peoples beliefs, sexual persuasion, and their common sense. Methinks you oughtta lay off the snow, cokehead. It's already making you unstable and paranoid.

I once bought a book on impulse. Oh, and a chocolate bar once too.

My spending habits have never really tended toward the impulsive high spender. Compared to some of my friends though, I'm a rash money guzzler that constantly has the song "Hey Big Spender" as background music.
Exult in your existence, because that very process has blundered unwittingly on its own negation. Only a small, local negation, to be sure: only one species, and only a minority of that species; but there lies hope. [...] Stand tall, Bipedal Ape. The shark may outswim you, the cheetah outrun you, the swift outfly you, the capuchin outclimb you, the elephant outpower you, the redwood outlast you. But you have the biggest gifts of all: the gift of understanding the ruthlessly cruel process that gave us all existence [and the] gift of revulsion against its implications.
