A classic pointless Polytubby thread - Think of some pointless and outrageous thread title like "why can't Gore and Bush be friends" create poll, stand back and watch the thread grow.

        I'm proud of you Dashi.

Russia is reluctant to join any European Confederation. Rather, they are the 3rd road. They are instead forming there own Union's with Belarus, Moldovia, Checneya, and even a move to unite with some others. So ya, I see the Soviet Union re-emerging. Except without the Communism. It will most definetaly be friendly to the USA. As we seek new oil. We are improving contacts with Russia daily. So I dont foresee Russia joining the EU.
I think it will be the third road. Our ties with EU will be only economic. One note we don't need to make alliance with Chechnya, it is one of the subjects of Russian Federation, our own territory.
I see no proof to support Russia joining the EU. Russians staunch Nationalists...
Look closely to USA foreign policy and you'll see who are Nationalists.
Most Russian's hate Europe after that ww2 thing.
It is stupid LIES. No one hate Europe here.

Want? Perhaps not. Need? That's a whole other story.

I'll wonder if you show to me a single Russian who dream about RF to be included in EU.
Should we improve our economic ties? Yes, of course. But to be included in EU? No, no one want it here, and even do not thinking about this.

I'm confused. Are you a Russian pretending to be a serb or a serb pretending to be a russian? Do Tell.

                  I'm tired to explain it.
My nickname based on combination of three first letters of my real name and first letter of my real family name. It has nothing common with nationality.

Like I said, Want, probably not... but Need, other story entirely.
