That is impressive. From that I am tempted to conclude that 82% of muslims are uninformed. Sort of like doing "did auswitch happen" polls in germany.

I think there was a thread on this, actually.

Sometimes I'm wondering whether we should wipe out those ignorant bastards...

But again, the questions in the poll may be skewed and the purpose of the poll is to incite anti-islamic feelings in the US.

Perhaps there is no conclusive evidence for them that Arab people did it. Media and all that. You can be sure that everyone wants to avoid responsibility. I mean japanese want to deny WWII atrocites that they have done accross Asia, Germans were not at first too willing to come to terms with Holocaust. That is normal reaction I think.

Even though it shows that most of them think that it is morally unjustifiable and that tells you that they are not for jihad, and will not want to fight and die If we don't make tham, what routing out of the "axis of evil" might change.

Yes, I was surprised. For two reasons:

                A. The majority of the Muslims don't believe arabs were behind the attacks.
                B. That even American allies like Turkey and Kuwait are against the US. And those two countries will play a key role in taking down Sadam.

No, I'm not serious here. But constant polls like this can have a similar effect on many Americans.

So how you think Muslims feel when Americans and Israelis are bombing their people? Won't that have more of an effect than a bunch of stupid polls?

I was some what amused by the survey carried out in this weeks 'The Economist'. When people around the world (not exclusively Islamic) were asked to sum up the US in one word, the most popular response was 'terrorist'.

                          I'd pick "ignorant" though.

                            There is nothing amusing here.
It's just like the comparisons between Israel and Nazi Germany. They use the rhetorics of the enemy, and they'll never realize that it's pointless.

One of the problems I have with this poll, which I have a few... is that it just says Arabs, when asking who they think did it. Aren't Arabs only strictly descended from those in the Middle East? So, it wouldn't include residents of Asia Minor, North Africa, or Asia, unless their ancestors migrated.

The other big question is what were the exact questions.
