    Stop denying the inevitable, Moneypenney.

It is called the Atlantic Integration. There are a truckload of books talking about it.
There are truckloads of books talking about the United Federation of Planets as well. What's your point?

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

You little stalking middle aged sex - deprived secretary stay off my back!

Well there are books and then there are books.

      here's the deal:

1.EU emancipates itself (military and all - the whole deal)
      2. A real rebalancing between EU - USA interests occures (this might be somewhat painful)
      3. A new basis of equal footing in the international chess board takes place
      4. Now assuimg that the EU is still capitalist (free markets, which it will be) the integration process will commence again and this time the Axis will be Washington - Brussels. (like it initianlly was Paris, Berlin (or Bonne))

According to the theorists of the Atlanitc Integration the EU process will be deemed desirable to continue between EU - USA in the distant future. That's academic analysis (which I'm bored to have to translate accurately and with every detail in english so I'm giving you the crude pointers).

The first step is the common EU - USA currency but the whole process will be revamped so it won't stop there. (political and military integration eventually there too).

as far as currency goes, I think that it will completely be done away with in the next 50 years or so (the printed money anyway)

**LOL** You needn't worry, Paiktis. Besides, your nation was the first (I believe) to popularize the Amazon Nation through your Classic mythology and such. Amazons have since been proven to be historic reality — albeit not exactly as described by Homer, et al. — so that automatically gives Greece a freebie point in my book (birthplace of Western civilization, freebie point #2). So while we may clash from time to time on 'Poly and our governments IRL, the Amazons will unite us in the end.

As for the rest of Europe, well, my blood lines originate in Germany, Denmark and a Nordic country or two. Gotta give a point there for that, even if it's divergent now by more than 100 years. **LOL**

More seriously, the Atlantic Integration concept is interesting. Of course, America might be *Amexica* by then, a famlial and political/military/economic union between the United States and Mexico. Well, if immigration rates continue as they are. As for Canada ... hmm ... well, I haven't a clue as to how their future might be shaped, aside from having Quebec tearing a huge hole out them out of French spite.

Whenever people are discussing the EU it leads to nothing.

That's the case here, and that's the case on international summits.
