I think there's always a tendency for people to decry the imperialist ambitions of other nations while blatantly ignoring their own. I have always liked and supported Europe. I love the countries and the people for the most part. It just sucks to see ignorant journalists with a widely read newspaper as their medium. As far as my opinion of the EU: I really do think that some of the officials are hypocrits and purposely misleading the masses. I don't really think i like the idea of the EU, but that's just because I liked travelling and using the different currencies etc.

You want to know the REALLY funny thing tho? Before long the EU is going to decide they need to adopt an official language. Any one want to wager what that language will be? MUAHAHAHAHA

the troublesome 'ph' would henseforth be
written 'f'. This would make words like
'fotograf'twenty persent shorter in print.

In the third year, publik akseptanse of the
new spelling kan be expekted to reash the
stage where more komplikated shanges
are possible. Governments would
enkourage the removal of double leters
whish have always been a deterent to
akurate speling.

we just need to realise it is as such

oh, and hope that they become a democracy before hey get there hands on a military, since a democracy is less likely to handle things militarily usually

(and we can all agree that a US-EU armed conflict would be bad for both sides)
