How Many Racists Does It Take to Screw in a Lightbulb?
Oh, come on. We can't tell the differance any more than they could for someone who is American, someone who is Canadian, someone who is Australian, and someone who is British.
Canadians only wear flannel and say "eh" and "aboot".
Americans will always say "y'all".
Australians say "mate", "barbie", and "g'day".
Brits are the leftovers.
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."
Ben Kenobi: "That means I'm doing something right. "
And not all Canadians say "aboot" an "eh" and dress in flannel.
Those stereotypes were intentional.

Actually, regarding East Asians, there are differences if you are observant enough. They are subtle differences, and exist over a spectrum, but someone familiar with them can usually tell the difference between Chinese, Japanese, and Laotian (for example). And, of course, they could tell the difference amongst themselves much easier than an American could.

I think he's referring to Amerindians. There aren't too many schools in North America where a quarter of the population is South Asian...

I know my real preference is colorblind when it comes to Politics.
Liberals dont want to have a concrete definition of racism, that way they can use it to tar and feather more people.

I hope you recognise that the "Old World" countries have populations which are a hell of a lot more ethnically distinct than those of the New World. There's no real genetic difference between a white guy in Australia and a white guy in Canada. There is a difference between ethnic Chinese/ethnic Laotian.

Given that he lives in Toronto I doubt he's going to school with too many Amerindians. In many neighbourhoods there or in Montreal you could find schools where 1/2 or 3/4 of the students are south Asian, while the only places you'd find that many Amerindians is on a reservation or out in the middle of the prairies or the great North.
