Be honest, how can Americans not understand that we can't help it when we don't take you seriously? "Handball, as in you kick the ball."

Well, we start with a kickoff. We score extra points, or "Point After Touchdown", and field goals...

Does it matter? Why is it called Jai-Lai? Or cricket? Or rugby? Or pool? Or snooker?

I think Americans should say American Football when they are refering to that game that resembles Rugby.

Football is internationally accepted as the word for "soccer". Get with the programme.

Whilst we're on the subject, hockey refers to the ice game, field hockey the non-ice version.

What's a "programme"? Why do you have to add u's in everything?

"Get with the programme" is a phrase, never heard it before? It means follow the rules, do as the others are doing...

Why do you have to add u's in everything?

To make Americans look illiterate in English.

Oh! You mean "program"! As in a computer "program", or a television "program".

Soccer a great sport to play and involves all sorts of great strategies, its just that watching it is like watching sod.

I believe in order to resolve this whole situation we should call soccer "Monkey Orgy Fantastic!" for the European tradition of chasing monkeys around at fornicating with them at half time.

Programme can be spelt like that, even in America.

Try finding some european who loves baseball, not that easy huh? The thing as that you have to understand the game in order to enjoy it most of the time.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars
