Mountains? Are they in any way comparable to what he'd see in Colorado and BC/Alberta?

Hills? Are they in any way comparable to California's rolling green hills?

Lakes? See the beautiful mountain lakes in BC/Alberta/Cali.

      Plains? These are exciting?

Desert? Can see that in the drive through New Mexico/Arizona. Terribly boring.

Beach? Surely there's no beaches in California.

Texas has nothing special, that's the point.

yeah, ummm...what exactly do you mean there's nothing to see asher? the only thing we don't have is mountains (big ones anyway), but we have the most beautiful sunsets and star-filled skies anywhere....

umm...yes. Much better in my opinion. Austin and to the northwest, the countryside is unbelievable.

Look, I understand you guys wanting to hype up where you're from, but Texas is nothing spectacular for a tourist.

You say blanket statements like that, when I guarantee you you've never been to many places at ALL.

Alberta sunsets over the mountains are simply astonishing, far more than you'd get in Texas.

Alberta is so sparsely populated you can easily see more of the star-filled sky, plus it's not NEARLY as polluted as Texas is.

Let's see...I've been to 47 states. The only states I haven't been to are Hawaii, Maine, and North Dakota.

And I've been to France, Germany, England, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Austria, The Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.

The Caymans, The Bahamas, Jamaica, and all over Mexico.

                    Bull**** Bull**** Bull****.

What makes Texas sunrises/sunsets better than, say, Alberta's?

Well, with the desert in west texas, it makes the sun sets a beautiful red...hard to explain...yet breathtaking...

Oh, indeed, I apologize. I didn't know you had red sunsets there. No one else in the world has those.

Seen all of those many, many times before here.

Those are nothing special to Texas. Why would you think they are?
