So we are not "starting" to do anything.
we also supported stalin over hitler. does that make us evil. its the way the world works. if you dont like it go bury your head somewhere
Iraq is in a little different category than other potential targets. I does not really fir into the anti-terroist war, becasue there is very little evidence or belief that they are harboring terroists or providing staging areas and material assitance to them. There primary sins are there own: namely defiong UN resolutions and refunsing to honor their promises in the cease fire agreement. However since there is only said cease fire agreement between them and further attack, and they are in violation of it, there is much less legal concern with resuming an attack on them. Mostly there is a geopolitical concern.

You support authoritative regimes that hurt the people not because it is the lesser evil but because it suits your interests.
And I have a better idea. Instead of burrying my head somewhere, I and others will oppose you 'till the bitter end
Bin Laden still isn't caught
Omar also is still at large.
Al Qaida still isn't destroyed.
But Bush and Co don't want to admit that, so they'll start another war to keep public opinion up. Pathetic.
Finish one war before you start another please.
funny? a man slughters thousands of innocents. and because he gets away with it its funny?
also
Al Queda is greatly damaged. to say the bombing had no effect is stupid.
Omar might control a camel, but not a country. And osama is running like a pansy.or dead)
the public is behind bush more than ever. he is doing teh right thig. you cant fight this war with harsh words or be on the defensive. you cant sit in your fort and let the enemy destroy yours castle walls before you strike them. you must hit them hard. much like we have done to the terrorist scum.

examples? we support S.arabia because of there oil( i have heardit before) that is true. But we also do it because we had to. Unless you wanted Saddam to contol 80%of the worlds oil. (then we could buy for 10$ a gallon)
It is the lesser of the two evils. And europe, everybody through history is guilty of this.
look at Iran. who buys there oil? who supdports one of the most repressive regimes on earth? Europe is one of them. please stop claiming the moral highground. there is no more of that. im sick of hearing the people on Tv do it. and here also there simply is none. we all have our wrongs. we are all out for uor interestes

The CIA tried to assassinate Saddam. If the latter really tried to reciprocate in kind, I would be the last person to blame him.
And, btw: 'The only country in the Middle East that refuses to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty is Israel. The only country in the Middle East that refuses to allow international inspection of its nuclear facilities is Israel. Yet all we hear from Washington is criticism of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussain's weapons of mass destruction. What weapons? He didn't use any in the Gulf war. Why is there never any criticism of Israel's weapons of mass destruction, which actually exist? '
Our aim is to provoke an unmuffled, ungagged, and unsilenced generation of world citizens into speaking up and taking the actions necessary to wrest control from the privileged few and to reclaim this planet in the name of all life.
Now, if I ask myself: Who profits from a War against Iraq?, the answer is: Israel. -Prof. Rudolf Burger, Austrian Academy of Arts
