Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Ramo: They don't.
Good, we agree then. If you don't agree with a law you have three choices:
1) Obey it.
2) Violate it and hope no one notices but be willing to pay the consequences if someone actually does notice.
3) Try and change it.
Illegal immigrants by and large fall into category #2.
paiktis22: Nice how?

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

I mean hell, if you're gonna throw people out of the country, why not throw out the H1-B tech immigrants so we computer workers can get more money from lowered competition. . . . Oh, right, this is about f*cking over poor people.

You still haven't answered my question, Dino.

So they deserve to be detained indefinitely by the state simply because they disobeyed an irrational, totalitarian law. Should the same have applied to Hitler's untermenschen?"Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. those who are criminial should be treated as such
those that aren't should be allowed to do the immegration process legally (maybe after a fine)

It doesn't help that they don't have millions to drag out the cases in court for years, either.

The answer to your question is that the immigrants that obeyed the law to get here deserve to stay. Those that didn't obey the law to get here don't. Is that enough of an answer?
That they disobeyed a very reasonable law
and should not be suprised when they have to pay the piper, so to speak
They deserve to be deported/detained by the state becuase the disobeyed a law that is neither irrational
[uote]nor totalitarian.[/quote]
The state tells you where you can or cannot go. That sounds fairly totalitarian to me."Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. Why is it reasonable?

Everything the State does sounds fairly totalitarian to you, Ramo. I'll be serious now. Let's use Caligasta as an example. What is totalitarian about the procedures that he has gone through? Note: Overly beaurocratic is different from totalitarian.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

I haven't overstayed my visa, Ramo.
A State has the right to control its borders

Why?
I am pro immegration because it is smart, not because it is 'right'
if they do crimes in the US and have not immegrated here, then I see no reason to not kick them out
