      As or dubya: just take Haider's FP. It is xenophobic, populist, rotten and utterly idiotic. But it is not including the religious lunatics, or the death penalty advocates, or the extreme corporate welfarists. It is difficult enough to find a label for them here, but what would it be in the US ?

      - advocates a flat tax
      - is lukewarm-opposed to the DP
      - is pro-choice
      - is xenophobic/anti-immigration
      - pro states-rights (in the EU context)
      - wants heavy financial support for families

      etc...

          But overall I'd also say they'd end up as slightly odd centrists in the US spectrum...
