Europa Universalis lived up to, and exceded my expectations. Except for the sequel, where there is a bug preventing me from hearing the sound effects .

Hey guys, for upcoming strategy games like this you should also check out "Supreme Ruler 2010", it's been in development for a bit and they have a bunch of tidbits posted on their website ....
