Britain isn't on our side, that's the point.

And Ted, want to explain why those quotes are wrong? Didn't think so. And in my honest opinion you should get out of this country. Canada or Mexico, both are good.

And Mobius, enough with the novels, ok?

Son, you make absolutely ZERO SENSE whatsoever.

Okay Brain Trust, what exactly do YOU want the Brits to do that they haven't done already?

      Tell me Mr. President?

I will destroy your points in a second...

You know, when I see people like Bob Dornan and Wiglaf, you really do begin to realise that there would be advantages to the Soviet Union having won the cold war

What an arsehole Wiglaf is. Not only is his argument shot down so quickly, but he won't even acknowledge he is in the wrong and reckons he won. Wiglaf, go and join Giancarlo in the corner and don't come out until you have settled down

          [AMERICAN OBNOXIOUS WAY OF BEEING]
Maybe we should start a poll some day asking if the "GLOBAL COMMUNITY SHOULD ATTACK AND DESTROY AMERICA " since they are annoying us in every possible way.

You seriously belive that? That is the biggest ****ing joke I think I've ever heard in my life. Did some English kid beat you up at school or something?

            They haven't helped in Afghanistan
Did you not READ everything that's been printed above? 6000 BRITISH troops landed in Afghanistan. SAS has already been there, gathering intel and spotting targets. A freakin carrier group is in the area, AWAITING THE GO FROM THE US. WE HAVE NOT GIVEN THEM the go. British have given us full access to all of their bases, along with logisitical, intel, and refueling support.

What I haven't seen is Blair ANYWHERE making noise, asking to send troops in to respond for the 'attack on the UK and the world', or offering any politically dangerous but morally responsible help.
I guess that must have been Blair's body double talking with the leaders of both India and Pakistan and calming them down.

we ask them for help and all we get are a bunch of useless promises and a couple free missiles.
Hey idiot, THEY GAVE us help before we even ASKED them. They have also done EVERYTHING we have asked them to. They are ready TO DO MORE.

And that political stuff you readily dismiss is a HUGE support. You really have no clue, do you?

How old are you Wiglaf? 13?

            That's what I thought.

            GAME SET MATCH.

Sorry, I forgot you've got the attention span of a...*

Thanks for making the rest of us look really bad Wiglaf.

              IDIOT

He DOES NOT speak for all Americans. Only for himself.
You know in my naivety when I first came to the Apolyton boards I must admit that I thought the majority of Americans were arrogant and ignorant little snots like our friend Wiggy, to an outsider US 'Patriotism' seemed like overblown arrogance...

But in the time I've been here, I've realised that people like Wiggy are actually in the minority and that US patriotism, whilst I (not being an American) cannot really relate to it, is something that in it's honest and innocent form I do actually respect!

              * Sentence cut short as it was deemed too long and complex for Wiggy's feeble reading capabilities...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

I want Blair to contact Bush and make a lot of noise about support for British troops in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan to back the Americans already there. I want constant air attacks from Canada, the Aussies, and of course Britain. It's ridiculous for our fighters and pilots and CIA agents to be the only ones doing the work.

I want all the countries that pledged support to be on the front lines. Combined, although obviously our forces are 10x better equipped and trained, the strength of the coalition will increase. Exactly how much is hard to tell at this point.

So, basically, I want more than "Oh, we're sorry about that, America. But our people don't want war. Don't feel bad though, I called some of the leaders down there and shot off a cruise missile. Really, this is an attack on us too."

                Pathetic.

Talking out your arse again? What do you think the SAS or MI6 have been doing, for example? They are there, just somewhat more discretely than your lads. But you seem quite capable of performing it yourself, we loan you air bases and the like without any problem

Erm, dumb sh*t, they are! The aim is not to invade Afghanistan with brute force but to perform specific missions. You seem to have missed the point.

Hmmm, did you actually see any of the news following September 11th? Pledges of support and assistance, all followed up on by those nations but not necessarily required in the end. And I don't know what you are waffling on about in the second part.

                    Pathetic.

Oh, that's right, PH. Your guys are down there. But because they're so very well hidden, no one knows.

Blair claimed 9/11 was an attack on his country as well. We all know, of course, that was a complete and total lie to Americans everywhere. That's what I was 'waffling' on about, whatever the hell that means.

Oh come on, it is known that the SAS is in there, along with the SBS. As for MI6, that follows.

Go back to the news and check again how many British nationals died in the WTC

Again, demonstrating your complete ignorance on the matter...

Did you ever notice that most of the guys on the front lines AREN'T AMERICANS? They're *drumroll* Afghans! Woo hooo! Syrup takes the prize!

If that many died while in Britain, not America, you'd have seen a MUCH different reaction from Blair.

Yes apparently Special Forces are supposed to be discreet, generally if you hear about their activities while they're doing them they not doing the job properly...

I've heard that the US are pissed that the SAS aren't giving them all the info they ask for...

It could be because when the US gave a press release saying they were tracking OBL's satellite phone - he stopped using it!!!

Or it might have been that time during the Gulf War that an SAS unit got into trouble and had to fight it's way out as a direct result of information made available by the US...

The point is - the majority of the ways we're helping on the ground you're not going to hear about until after the conflict, if ever!!!

                                Shut yer cakehole, Syrup!

Everyone here thinks you're a d1ck - Doormat's only encouraging you because you're taking all the heat he usually gets...

                                (I bet he secretly thinks you're a d1ck as well! )
