Whenever I was up late enough when I was in high school, I watched Carson.

      RIP, Johnny.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I remember staying up and watching his show when I was a kid. Though summertime was really the only time I could stay up that late when I was young.

I admit I only learned who he was after he'd already stopped doing the Tonight Show, but he was one of the greats of TV entertainment, I know that much.

He will be missed by many.

Shortly before he retired, they had a syndicated daily show highlighting his thirty years of skits on the Tonight Show. I think it was called Carson's Comedy Classics. That may still be floating around somewhere.
