  • gian - you sources say that Apple is overvalued. They do NOT say it is selling at a price the market isnt bearing.

    Do you understand the difference?

By the way, I dont own a THING Apple makes. Not a thing. AFAIK there computers are overpriced, and I see no need to own an IPOD. They may well go bankrupt tomorrow, for all I know.

I post only in defence of economic terminology, not in defense of Apple.

Understand this: Grow some common sense and then talk to me. I'll let the sources speak for themselves, these are the experts afterall.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Quote where one of your experts says Apple is selling at a price the market will not bear.

The price is over-valued, and I ****ing have claimed it has been overvalued from the get-go. You cannot twist my statements. Right now as it stands, my words are plated in ****ing gold.

over valued != not at a price the market will bear.

                • You are not very good at being a radical capitalist, Giancarlo.

                  Might I suggest a change?

How about becoming a social democrat?

                  • You seem to have changed your tune about Apple to some degree, Imran. I take it that your ipod is responsible.

No, Apple is still an overpriced computer maker. The $500 Apple is a good step, but it depends what is on the box. I'd rather get a cheaper Wintel box with more stuff in it, personally. The iPod is a good buy because the interface in consumer electronics is very important and integral to a good product (and iPod's is best, IMO) and it's less than $50 over it's biggest competitor. Apple computers, OTOH, should be selling for a less, so buying an Apple of similar power of an equivalent PC shouldn't cost you more. Even if you like the OS, it isn't a deal breaker as it may be in consumer electronics.

                    • I am a capitalist. I'm not radical anything. I defend the current system (therefore I'm not a radical). Social democrats can kiss my rear end and suffer in their own drowning of illogicalities. Hell hath no fury for a damn leftist.

It is kind of funny how Gian will not accept a basic, totally obvious, principle of securities markets.

Yeah I do. However, it hasn't a god damn thing to do with what I'm talking about.

You are an evil anti-american thug who defends people like Agathon, and dead companies like Apple. You might as well suffer in your rotting bed of lies and deception, and horrific miscalculation. I have no respect for such a low person as you. You are the ignorant little marxist, yanukovich supporting, saddam supporting, anti-capitalist spy.
