  • I am literally nautious...when did fox news OVERTLY become republican mouthpiece?

I used to really like foxnews years ago... when bill oreily had a radio show but was not on TV I listened to him almost every day... I was not watching oriely(sp?) now though, just the normal news with some hosts... here is what I drew out of it:

Why evolution is bad and wrong.

Why homosexuality is bad and wrong(and anyone who practices it, is wrong).

    Why liberals hate our troops.

Any time the "defendant" in these cases finally started rationally justify their case, time to go to the next issue! The host who should at least pretend to be neutral was overtly supporting one side on all these issues....

It did not bother me as much in the past even though foxnews as gradually... I watched it because it was LESS overtly partisan then CNN and I was a democrat at the time.....

So utterly partisan... UGH. I literally, feel nautious-that is not a figure of speech, my stomach is churning. I brought a garbage can next to my computer because I feel like I may vomit to know that a large portion of our country turns to this piece of journalistic filth for its information.

G-D bless the internet..... I can't stand to get my news from TV anymore. CNN is all irrelevant filler or worthless lies and foxnews is so overtly partisan it makes me want to vomit-literally, as I watch it.

I'll be back in a few minutes, I am going to see if I can give the procelain lord an offering.

I no longer watch fox news regularly.

I watched it alot during the Iraq war last year. But no more.

I might stop briefly when I'm flipping through channels to see what they are discussing, but that's it.

Re: when did fox news OVERTLY become republican mouthpiece?

Hasn't it been that way in the past two years, since the buildup of the Iraqi war?

            UGH YOU SLEAZY DOUCHE BAGS!!!!

They are debating with two guests over this mentoring group has a religious affiliation mentoring kids(the group gets state money) and some people cried foul about it.....

NOW the people against this are NOT arguing that its bad for a faith based mentoring organization to be getting funding, they are arguing it is bad if this group is getting obvious preferential treatment for municipal funding(and it is). This group only recruits people from a specific christian group and makes them sign an affidavet of faith....

NO NO NO! That is too sane and too fair so the spin doctor host very subtly begins attacking the people against this group by arguing the constitutionality of faith based mentoring organizations existing and goverment and religion mixing(you can guess which stance it took)-WHILE THE PERSON NEVER CLAIMED THIS!

*changes the chanell and feels more nautious*

Once again as soon as the people who are against the hosts view begin to rationally explain the issue.... next topic!

O'Reilly isn't liberal by any stretch of the imagination. He is moderate in some regards... as in if you put him against a right-wing nutjob he won't agree with him- since his shtick is insulting people.

yes he is, his answer to everything happened to end in "we need government to do X", he brings up some issues you don't like, and has toned down the calls for the government to resolve all problems, but there ya go.

Fox does not claim to be unbiased...just fair and balanced.

I know this may be a shock to you, but repugs don't want the govt to do nothing... they want it to do what they would like to see happen.

this is why you only read online news, and avoid the **** that is network telly news as much as you can.

when it's in text, they don't have to fight as much over eyeballs, so there's less vomitatious graphics and annoying cutoffs of the opposing viewpoint.
