Anyway, On topic, As long as the City provides alternative housing for the displaced families, good for them. Overall to do so would probably cost them less than having the families go into the homeless system. I know that would be true here in NYC.

I wonder - if several crimes occurred in an upper class gated community in California, would all the residence be evicted ?
