What is the most numerically surpsing victory in military history?

If technologically comparable adversaries are required, Charles XII's victory over the Russians at Narva is fairly cool - the Swedish army was outnumbered 4-1. Then, the Russians weren't expecting to be attacked.
I should probably read the whole thread before replying, but this is my view of the battle of Narva:
The Russian defenders had fixed positions , so they were stuck where they were. The Swedish attackers were mobile and could chose the direction from where they attacked. The weather was horrible, and the Swedes used that with great skill. They attacked with the raging snow storm blowing from their backs, so that the Russians could not see them until the Swedes were 10 meters from the Russian trenches. The Russians fled in panic, and the bridge over the river was a narrow bottle-neck for their retreat. Hundreds, if not thousands, of Russian soldiers fell into the river and died in the freezing waters.

Now I see why they call you the Last Confirmist. You are the last who accept the truth.
Note to self: Next you you run of arguments, attack adversary's username, and hope your patheticness will move bystanders to pity.
Why can't you be a non-conformist just like everybody else?

And I asked to name me a single neighbour we didn't beat.
Japan.

We paid them back twice. Check the links on page three or type "Khalkin Gol 1939" and Manchuria 1945" in any search engine.

Yea that was around 1905 I think dudemanjack. Japan made initial gains in fighting, sunk both Russian fleets in sucession, etc, but couldn't carry the fighting into Russia and knew it. A "peace" agreement was brokered by the US and our British lackeys(or it might have been the other way around at that point in time), forcing Japan to give most if not all of what it got back.
Yes, but the Soviets kicked Japan's butt in WWII. They smashed the Japanese in Manchurian and Korea. Many credit the Soviet invasion with the Japanese surrender.
The Russians never kicked China's butt, though, at least not without help.
