  • I'm disappointed.

but it's not really that big a deal. I was going to vote for Bush up until about 6 months ago anyways.

The only reason I didn't was the prison abuse scandal. I can't explain why, but that has deeply disturbed me. I've never been so ashamed of being an american. Perhaps I was being naive, and didn't realize how evil the country I live in really is. I just couldn't believe ordinary people are that sadistic. What's even more ****ed up is a few months ago when discussing who we were vote for, some Bush backers were defending this behaviour saying it wasn't that bad.

I no longer like my country. But I'm too lazy to move

    • Where was the 'Pissing oneself laughing' choice...?

Oh well, better go for Schadenfreude then

Talk about self-destruction. Probably the best thing to happen for the rest of the World (well, most of it!), though we probably won't realise for at least 4 years...
Is it me, or is MOBIUS a horrible person?

That is what you get if you give gullible morons the opportunity to vote...

yes I'm curious as well. I made a post in the election thread about how presidential policies really don't affect me, or anyone that I know. As far as I can tell, they don't affect my whole city. How can conservative policies be that bad?

                        • Like many other semi-intelligent non-Americans posting here, I simply shake my head in bewilderment at how more than half of America's voting population can fail to see what the rest of the world so clearly sees.

Oh wait, I forgot something.....90% of Americans don't give a rat's arse about the rest of the world, and most of those do'nt even recognise that there is a world outside of America (except Afghanistan and Iraq of course, and then only in the last 3 years).

So with that in mind......I guess I'm not so surprised after all.

not everyone is alike. Apparantly people think Bush is doing a good job.

And he is if you think about it. The economy is good. There are plenty of jobs. I would have voted for him if he hadn't messes up the Iraq war.
