Not plumbing per se, but yeah, I could have been rightfully aborted.

Just like my mother could of rightfully of been using a contraceptive or my father a condom that prevented my existence from ever happening too.

    • Murder in not legal because it prevents the proper functioning of society. Abortion does not.

Why not gut 2-week old babies if you decide they cry too much? They have the intelligence of half a cat and can be ten times more annoying.

Neither does gutting 2-week old babies. Especially the annoying ones.

They have significant cognitive functioning, their brain has started to work. That gives them sufficient attributes to qualify them for the majority of human rights (clearly they can't vote or do many other things yet).

They are not cats, so they do not get "cat rights", though I would add that technically killing a cat like that is animal abuse.

I see your argumentation skills are improving.

Dog and cat brains also work "significantly." And they don't whine as much.

So you must be against euthanizing pets to keep dying animals from suffering.

To say that it is not a religious issue is bull. Buddhists in Japan do not give abortion a second thought because of thier belief in reincarnation.

Why would a baby be a part of anything? It's relatively dumb, it's annoying, and craps everywhere. Why not group it into the same nonexistence as an unborn baby?

Clearly all different religions have their say on abortion. This does not preclude an ethical debate on the topic in any way.

The baby is sentient and part of a human-level intelligence species, those two items constitute the bar.

It isn't about being dumb or smart, it is about having an advanced brain and being part of such a species. The baby has it, the dog does not. The zygote and embryo do not, for the brain hasn't started to function yet.

. The fire cracks and groans quietly as her angular, yet strong hands clasp around my throat, her knee pressing on my chest before she straddles my agonised form. I pass my hands over hers, of love I stroke her soft, coldly smooth flesh and bury my fingers into it, the fading strength of my hands penetrating her with a deep pain as her face contorts magnificently.

                              1. Sentient - About as much as a cat, maybe less.
                              2. Human-Level Intelligence-Species - What does this even mean?

It isn't about being dumb or smart, it is about having an advanced brain
Fetuses also develop barely functioning brains, you know.

Funny, a search of that statement on google indicates it was not written by anyone involved:
