    • You felt the need to post that twice, Ned?

I'm sure AS is just devastated that the posterboy for the lunatic fringe has lost respect for him.

BTW I dont 'blame' Carter for acting as he did any more than I ''blame' Bush I for failing to finish off Saddam Hussein or 'blame' GWB for acting prematurely in Iraq. Its easy to armchair quarterback after the fact. That being said, the consequences of Carter's inability to resolve the problem with the hostages were dire for the USA and for the middle-east in general.
SpencerH, this kind of thinking by Ramo helps illustrate why he is a member of the loonatic left. The word "loonatic" is the apt word to describe people who live in an alternate reality of conspiracy theorys and lies.

No it doesn't. But I have never heard Kerry actually say this. It would help a lot of us if Kerry demonstrated some understanding of the source of all the hate in the ME and some understanding of the way out for the future.

Yeah sure. Asked at the Democrat convention why he claims, "Bush lied," Michael Moore replied, "Were there WMD's found in Iraq?"

That is a strawman, I never have talked about Moore or what he has said (and I think Moore's 9/11 doc is pretty poor).

Rather I have indicated figures from factcheck.org, you can just go and add up the lies.

It is really quite easy to do, but apparently Bush supporters know somewhere that Bush lies a lot more and they don't want to deal with it.

If I am a posterboy for the lunatic fringe, God help America. The people who like Kerry are true haters of America and everything she has ever stood for.

Drach, I am not concerned (much) about what you consider to be lies. I am concerned about what Michael Moore, and Senator's Kerry and Edwards claim to be lies.

In other words, you don't give a darn about the truth, because you don't care about what indepedent groups (like factcheck) identify as lies, you only care about bashing the people you don't like.

I have no idea. Prior to this thread, I didn't even know about this whole deal.

Drach, I am concerned that Bush tell me the truth about facts. There are a lot of "conclusions" one can draw from known facts. These are opinions. One does not lie about opinions. One can exaggerate, puff and spin. But this is to be expected in a political campaign.

Cite me one thing, just one, where Bush lied about a fact that at the time he said it he knew to be false.

In contrast, the left has no shame. They charge Bush with this or that and produce falsified documents to prove their charges. With the left, it is the gravity of the charge that is important, not its truth.
