Actually, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if DP officials were using whatever legal tricks they could to minimize GOP voters. Neither party has any respect for the voters themselves. They think they own the system, that they have more right to it than we do. Both parties disgust me deeply. I think voter intimidation should be illegal.

Another problem is using absentee ballots to engage in ballot stuffing. Over 700,000 absentee ballots were cast in Florida in the 2000 election. Of those, the Dems tried to challenge about 3,000, which were blatently illegal. The GOP attacked the Dems by saying they were trying to take away military personals' right to vote. So the Dem's backed off. Since the ballots weren't challenged, they counted.

Two things occured here. Illegal ballot stuffing and legal tricks. The GOP attacks were perfectly legal. Granted, there were for an illegal end, but they ere legal. The Democrats did not have to back down. They did so of their own accord.

If you're in a line full of obvious Kerry supportes trying to vote early and they ask you for whom you intend to vote, you can lie, and tell them Kerry, then vote for Bush, Badnarik, Nader, etc. You are not compelled to tell them the truth. Nor do they stop you from voting. As disgusting as it is, it involves a choice on your part.

Finally! Thank you. This is something that is actually serious. I would point out, however, yet again, that ACORN is not part of the Democratic Party.

Yeah, ACORN is scum. They treat their workers like **** and are famous for pulling out all the stops from preventing their workers to unionize. Bunch of vile hypocrites, I definately wouldn't put voting fraud past them. But they are not the Democratic Party (thank god).

Last I saw this was an independent company and that company paid people based upon how many registration forms they bring back. Thus there is a built in incentive for these low paid people to pad thier pay checks by falsely filling out registration cards.

There is a MAJOR difference between independent contractors having a few bad apples in their employees and the Republican Party which directly employed people who throw away registration cards of voters who registered as Democrates. They're both crimes but it's like you (the party) personally commiting a crime vs someone you know commiting a crime. The closer the crime is to you then the worse it is.
