I have changed my position on gun control

The whole thing about gun legislation is that it doesn't keep the guns out of the hands of criminals, just out of good people's hands. If someone thinks you have a gun you are less likely to be robbed. Unless they're homicidal maniacs, they're going to go for the path of less resistence.

But then, why homicidal maniacs have to commit a crime before they are killed by society is beyond me.

Maybe we should bring back the good old duels? At least they were somehow fair

Thankyou! The trouble is that they won't listen to reason, and if they have numbers group intelligence goes down, hostility rises, even to people that are bigger than them. I'm a big guy, I'm 5'11 and heavily built, and I work out but they have numbers . But like I said, fighting isn't good, but it sure beats dying or getting serious injury to me.... cos in that situation, I value my life a hell of a lot more than I value theirs. Sounds harsh and sad but it's the truth about how these things work.

seriously though. I own a gun. I would never carry it out in public. If you use it in that situation you are going to prison for the rest of your life. It's your word against theirs.

The only place I'd use my gun is inside of my home defending against invaders/burglars. Any other use is going to send you to a lengthy court battle

I'd rather die than go to prison and be raped.

IMO you should run your opinions about the Mill Limit by its creator (namely me) before you state them as if to correct said creator! But in this case you are correct, it does not make the distinction between stupid people and good people. But then, this isn't an argument by the ML .

learn martial arts. It's fun and if your well trained you can take on four people and win, especially if your already in good physical shape. As for weapons, get a whipchain, you can hide it under your belt and you can easily hit multiple attackers from a safe distance with it.

I think the only people who should carry guns are old, enfeebled people to weak to defend themselves any other way.

I'm glad I didn't have a gun when I was attacked. I would have used it, and killing someone over being slugged isn't something I'd be very happy about having done.

and whip chains are considered lethal weapons I'm sure. You risk long prison terms hitting someone with that.
