Nice looking, but what crappy advertising lines.

But which ones are the good looking vibe, and which one's the ugly Matrix?

How robust are these mp3 players? About the same as a mobile phone? Im going to be out a lot of money if the screen gets broken

        Are you kidding?

The Vibe is uglier, though they're both hideous.

        Mazda 3 hatch.

For the record, Creative would be Toyota...they designed virtually the entire car.

I thought gays were supposed to have a good sense of style. The Vibe is certainly the better looking of the two.

          Better than the Mazda too.

It's no contest, and yes, we do have a good sense of style (which is why I'm right )

The plastic alone, and the angular late-90s Pontiac styling makes it fugly.

They all have moving parts (harddrive) and an LCD -- you don't want to be dropping these.

My brother's dropped his original Nomad Zen a few times, and it still works...has a few dents though.

The original Zens are pretty durable, seeing as they're aluminum and not plastic.

You gotta be kidding me? You don't see how they look alike? Come on! I'm the (second?) biggest anti-fanboy for Apple here, but I can acknowledge that Creative wanted to make their player look more like an iPod.
Is there an iPod I haven't seen? Could you post a picture of that iPod that Creative "stole" the design from? The only thing they have in common is that they both has bottons on the front...
This space is empty... or is it?

They're also both suspiciously in the shape of a harddrive.

It's tacky comparing different year models and different styles. The plastic trim is not a constant.

Your Mazda3 reminds me too much of the Honda hatchback, which just screamed Ricermobile.

It's not the same thing. I'm not saying they copied the techonology, I'm saying they are copying the style. It'd be like a company which made TVs that were similar in style to Sony or something.
Ok, maybe it wasn't the best idea to use to compare (I was a bit in a hurry)... but then let's say that the first tv ever made had buttons on the side. Then a new company came and created a tv with buttons on the front instead... would all other tv-companies who made tv's with buttons on the front just be copycats of the first company who did it?

Fine...here's the '04 models from a similar perspective.

The new Vibes do look quite a bit nicer, but are still way too angular. The rear tail-lights with the protruding blackish separaters are still ghastly.

And I HATE how Pontiac puts the reverse lights on the bumper. Talk about stupid...

I agree, those Mazda's look pretty sweet. If I had that kind of money, I would get me one.

my nomad muvo, a usb stick, has been through the washer twice.

                            it still works.

Got a few good PMs from Aggie. Anyway, I don't need a 'mini', Asher. I'm looking at regular sized, iPod 4G, Creative Zen Touch, and Dell (thingy).

And come on, about the 'button' anology. The differences from previous Zens include a more 'bright' look and a touch pad (not including moving the buttons, if you think that's the main thing).

                                Why's Aggie banned?
