BC bud is gorgeous stuff! You can effectively just throw away the leaves!! I prefer orange bud on just pure strength though, BC has a nicer taste .

All weed is crap. That simple. It should be removed from society.

i will vote for any candidate who invades canada in order to annex bc.

bc, of course, because it has hongcouver and because it's making weapons of mass celebration in the form of atomic bongs.

Well we all act in our own best interests, and that includes whether or not we obey the law.

Sometimes it makes us feel good, feel peaceful and creative, unlike alcohol which makes some people violent. No reason to keep it illegal, every reason to legalise it! Ok ok, there's health but thats no basis to be prescriptive. And there's no harm to others.

The argument that it's a gateway drug relies on dealers, which are removed if weed is legalised anyway!

It must be kept illegal because it will kill society. It is a gateway drug. If you use weed, chances are you will use other more serious drugs. Chances are you will go out and commit crimes. You will obey the law. Health reasons are big enough for it to remain illegal. You are causing a national security hazard. You are putting a strain on the health system.

marijuana's not the evil drug people make it out to be.

in fact, i think it should be used more often. the frequency of impulse spending on food items after smoking some weed must benefit the national economy in a way.

That is outweighed by national security problems caused by the smoking of weed and health problems. And people in the US are fat enough... you want them to become more fat? How funny. So how about the possible health repercussions of being more fat? It puts a strain on the health system.

Putting a strain on the health system is no threat to national security, at least no more than smoking tobacco, which considering the quantities, is more harmful per capita than weed.

Health reasons are insufficient in a state that recognises that the individual is sovereign over their own body.

If you want to talk about gateway drugs, you have to discuss the mechanism behind it. You don't smoke weed for a certain amount of time and then wake up and say "hey I know, I'm going to do a line of coke between a strippers t!ts". Dealers and opportunists will offer and encourage... not using weed as a basis but the relationship.

I very much doubt I'd be offered hard drugs under the counter at a tobaccanist.

Now, on the other hand, what will hurt society more is keeping the status quo, whereby people will smoke regardless of the law, for me its not even a consideration. I know my sources and I trust them, but if they were unscrupulous they could offer different stuff. Keeping that situation intact is irresponsible, which is why legalising it, which will destroy that system, is a good idea .

frick, i didn't think about the fat factor...

you're right. fat is evil, and we need to put a stop to it now. ban marijuana, the fatmaker.

in other news, i've been on the starvation diet, and it's done wonders for my figure. and sooner or later, i'll have to go down to h&m to update my wardrobe.

It hurts society to have a black market for a product consumers clearly want.

It can be a gateway drug because such a simple drug needs to be obtained by dealers, who sometimes push other, harder drugs.

If weed were available at the local drug store, it'd be a different case.
