  • Or maybe it was a detonator disguised as a pen...if things start going to badly in the debate, *whump* and no more opponent.

          • Actually I think he was trying to assassinate himself by shoving a pretzel up his own ass.

              • You know, Kerry is actually very smart, he wouldn't need a "cheat sheet"; that's something Bush would need.

Besides, if he had such a sheet, he wouldn't have been writing constantly while Bush was talking. What was he doing? Why, he was jotting down what points to make to counter what Bush said.

                Cheat-sheet? *sigh* That's silly.

If there's a senior citizen somewhere who can't pay for her prescription and has to choose between medicine and the rent, that makes my life poorer, even if it's not my grandmother. If there's an Arab American family being rounded up without benefit of an attorney or due process, that threatens my civil liberties. It's that fundamental belief -- I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper -- that makes this country work." - Barack Obama

                • Even if he had a cheat sheet. So what. Kerry's remarks were obviously more spontaneous then Bush's canned comments.

In that they create nonstories about politico's of the times as opposed to interesting stories about Kobe Bryant or Lacy Peterson

                              • Oh remember when somebody was asking me about that Rasmussen poll with 3,000 correspondents that was partly taken before the debate?

                                Well it has been updated.

Kerry gained one percent. Wow. He failed in my eyes. This poll has one of the larger samples out there.... it is better then those 600-1,000 samplings. Bush's popularity went down... a stunning... -.4%.
