      Inapplicable? Possibly. Useless? Not at all. The way it makes you think, the problem solving ability, and the ability to do any math likely required in the real world, are why maths graduates are among the most sought after by businesses. Why would they be in such demand if they didn't perform so well when it comes to employment? Just because they may not use their course, they become highly employable through doing it.

          I feel it depends on what you study. I feel it supports my studies of software engineering quite well. At least indirectly. Well, maybe some day!

                      Probably they don't know **** about toasters. But probably they know other things. For example, when did math guys find out something useful about ethics? Or the principles of a free society?
