Historically, Kerry never met a tax increase that he did not support or a tax cut he did not oppose.

Is he your kind of politician?

    • Clinton is actually the first President in decades to leave office with a smaller government than he had coming in.

And THIS is why I love gridlock in our government .

No, actually, Clinton and Gore did a lot to reduce Federal employment and streamline agencies. They have to applauded.

It does appear that electing Southern Democrats is a good thing.

Kerry is not a Southern Democrat.

Kerry is not my kind of politician for different reasons.

I oppose capitalist lapdogs, who try to lure the population with shallow platforms and clls to emotion.

Wrt taxes specifically, I am in favor of pragmaticism instead of ideology. Some tax cuts can be good, some tax increases can be bad. While I agree with the idea that the State should be at the core of wealth redistribution, I evaluate the political stances wrt taxes on a case-to-case basis.

Generally, I support an increase in income tax (whether individual or company-wide), and support a decrease in other forms of taxation, especially sales tax.
