        • btw I love how you righties automatically say it's propaganda... but yet... never ever offer ANYTHING in the way of facts or information to disprove ANYTHING that the man says.

in case you are wondering, that means Moore holds a stronger position than you.

pwnd by the Lincoln. That's pretty rare to see. Good work.

The MM article shows an unusual glimmer of common sense for him. He is at least partly onto something there. But as usual, it's obvious that he has a really hard time figuring out how the minds of people who aren't on the extreme left work.

If its Liberal in bias, its propaganda.

If its conservative in bias, its the gospel truth.

The term gospel is a registered trademark of the GOP, along with the terms bible, christian, crusade, and gun-toting.

Did the Dems exploit 9-11 during their convention when they paid tribute to the fallen?

We should not pretend like 9-11 never happened. It did. It changed our nation. We need to pay tribute to the dead. And, we need to discusss how to move forward from that tragedy. That is not "exploiting" 9-11. It is simply acknowledging reality.

Oh, and Lincoln, honey, its not that we dems. are violent, is that we now republicans are morbidly afarid of the brown people and need the cops to keep the filthy furreners away.

The scene conveys a message in that you see Bush attempt to make a (lame) joke, but it doesn't work because it's so sadly true.

As for the convention, I listened to part of it last night on the radio (so I didn't see any visuals). McCain's speech came off well in general, but I thought his praise of Bush was transparently self-serving (since we all know that it's just a setup for the 2008 Republican primaries).

In contrast, Giuliani's speech was just awful; and that line about seeing a 9/11 victim jump from the WTC and then turning to the police chief and saying "thank God, George Bush is our president" - it was so exploitative that I can't believe he said it.

You are really showing your bias. The Republicans did not exploit 9-11. What they did was just as appropriate as what the Dems did. In fact, I think the Republican tribute was more appropriate than the Democrat one.
