  • We may not be there by two I'm afraid, because DrSpike is waiting for an important letter on Saturday, and given the recent performance report on Royal Mail then we can't promise to get there by two. I don't really understand this, but I told Spike I'd let you know. He'll probably be along here in a while to vent his anxiety that the introduction of duke and Jamski to one's home inevitably induces. So be nice to him!

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow afternoon.

    • Don't worry about the time, people can turn up any time from 2

Whaleboy and I will probably be coming from Wellingborough, but should be there around 2

      See you tomorrow afternoon

      • Yeah as Duke says 2 might be a stretch, but we shall be there for sure later on. Looks like Drogue is our contact, as he provided a number.

Duke/Jamski one of you needs to bring your phone, since I've just bought a new one, which hasn't arrived yet.

I used to have high praise for our postal system, but in the past few years it has completely gone to pot. I get one postal delivery a week and it can take many days longer than normal for mail to get to it's target. I've had parcels lost before too which have had to be redespatched. I can honestly say that the Dartford postal depot is absolutely and utterly lousy...is this endemic of the whole of the London area?

          • No its endemic of the fact that Dartford is a dump.

                Are you slagging off Dartford?

                Fair game

                        • Well I am the first back - everyone else is on their way. I had to depart early due to a bit of a dodgy stomach if you know what I mean. The odd thing is I wasn't even drunk but manage to carry out a considerable amount of vomiting But I feel absolutely fine, bloody starving in fact...

                          • Well that's because most of your dinner is sitting on the pavement by the last pub we left.

                            • The last pub we left being The Plough on Little Russell Street, just around the corner from the British Museum. I, foolishly, gave the barmaid a tip for cleaning up the aforementioned mess, so PH owes me a fiver.
