Ah, exciting Swindon...they have a really fun roundabout thing there

I thought it was self-parody when I saw them touting it on a poster at the station... apparently not!

Nope, it's really all there is that is exciting in Swindon. And it's really not very exciting

Well I might be there soon: that's exciting for the townsfolk!

            Swindon station is really miserable.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

I think I have been through the station briefly. I have also visited an uncle in Wootton Basset at the same time I was down in Oxford for my interviews...long time ago now...

I'll definately be there Just got back from Reading (and about to go out again, because I'm still feeling pretty uplifted ).

Finally finished the 20 odd forms for Univ, and I have the big matriculation dinner on my 20th Birthday

Well it's less than a week away, so we need an easy to find meeting place. I've just moved to London so I'll open the floor to suggestions.

The traditional is the Shakespeares Head on Kingsway, next to Holborn tube station. Its spacious and doesn't get too crowded, its also cheap drinks and standard Wetherspoons decor.

The alternative is an expensive, cramped, 'trendy' bar.

The Shakespeare's Head works for us. We are coming in on the Piccadilly line so something close to any station on that line is ideal.
