    CANADA VOTES today

    If you are a Canadian citizen over 18 you should
    VOTE TODAY !!

    I'm working the election, so I actually voted by special ballot three weeks ago, but the rest of you should vote today.

    The revised elections act means that the party you vote for will receive funding based on the number of votes it receives in the election. So even if you live in a riding that traditionally returns a party you don't like, a vote for the party you prefer will help it in the long run...

    Besides, with the current voter volatility, anything is possible this time.

                No - small parties will actually get more than they were getting before.

                I haven't watched the campaign as I've had work to do. I saw that Harper called Martin a child pornographer and pinched myself to see if I was in the States.

                Boring campaign: where is a **** like Stockwell Day when he's needed?

                      And since, as I recall, it's 1.50$ for each vote, the 10$ a month I give to the NDP should, over the course of a four year election cycle, make me worth 320 votes to them.
