  • Has anybody else had problems recieving mails from Apolyton?
A few days ago I contacted the admins... after a few days without response I contacted them in reference to the first question, where I got a response... in this response I was told they had replied a few days earlier, but apparently I never got this email...
I checked my trash can, looked through all letters, but never found it... it didn't end up in the spam-box either... I couldn't search for it... I never recieved it...

This space is empty... or is it?

    • Mine come through just fine. The conversation sorting is quite handy re: Apolyton because I no longer have 20,000 different reminders lying about my inbox- there are now only 5 or so threads.

      • Their spam and virus blocking is very efficient. I am the mail admin for my kollegium, and the system I have set up catches more than 95% of spam and viruses. But gmail does even better, letting only half as many through as my own system.

            • Thanks go to MattH. If and when I get a handful of invites, I'll save at least one for 'poly.

But does it block any that aren't spam? If not, that's pretty impressive!

                  • The only mail it had marked as spam for now, is a PBEM save

I am not aware of any wrongly flagged mails. But I am not in the habit of checking; I have gotten 430 spams in the last 5 days, and that is not including the virus mails which they delete without putting in the spambox (I approve). The spam volumen seems to have risen lately.

At least for my usage, there is a bigger chance of me deleting a real mail if I had to sort them manually than what the automated systems manage.
