I've already got one on the waiting list (if he haven't got it somewhere else yet), but I still haven't got a possible chance to invite yet
This space is empty... or is it?

To Asher , for his invite . This invite morally obliges me to give two back to apolyotn members . Don't PM me , though , until I say I've got the invites .

i don't have invites to give yet, but i like gmail.

only gripe is that it doesn't work with opera yet.

i'll give all the invites back to 'poly save for 2, which are already reserved.

I got a gmail account a few days a go, but I didn't get any invites to send out. They may be coming to the end of their test period soon.

hm. I've lost a machine.. literally _lost_. it responds to ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my apartment it is - erno (from IRC)
I had that problem once...turned out it was behind the wall in the computer center. Somebody had built the new wall over it. I didn't notice for about two years, when I had to find it to take it off campus.

How can somebody accidently build a wall, so it 'hides' a computer?

                              • They were building a wall over an exposed wiring panel (the room had previously been used for distance ed classes so it was wired for video and sound) and assumed the machine was part of the equipment they were supposed to hide...
