sure, because she buys into the whole submissive women/conservative mentality... I'm talking about women like Hillary... feminists, women who represent equality and liberation... not just repressive conservative values.

Although it's good that you bring up Elizabeth Dole. It is interesting to compare how liberals treat conservative women compared to how conservatives treat liberal women. I never hear how conservative women are attacked as viciously as the right attacks liberal women.

I guess liberals just have more respect for women.

Now shouldn't you go back to saying how, "you'd hit it"? I'd hate to interupt your chauvinism.
To us, it is the BEAST.

Submissive? Hardly. Elizabeth Dole is a very strong woman.

The problem with the whole feminism movement is that somewhere along the lines it confused assertiveness and independence with being an *******.

Nowadays when a women is cold, rude, or selfish she's looked at by the feminists as a role model, a "strong woman." A woman that attempts to be kind or, God forbid, actually comprimising, is seen as weak and submissive.

The popular line goes like this, "when a man is being aggressive and assertive, it's called being ambitious, but when a woman does the same thing, she's a b1tch."

Sounds good but it's far from reality.

In reality when a man is being a jerk, he's a jerk, plain and simple. The same aggressive and selfish behaviors that men do also apply to women. If she's being a b1tch, she's being a b1tch. There is nothing strong about it, and almost always it is a sign of inner weakness, for either sex.

And some of these women wonder why they end up sad and lonely?

Reagan was known for his kindness. One story goes, when he was shot and in the hospital, he spilled a container of water. He got down on his hands and knees and cleaned it up himself, because he didn't want the nurses to get in trouble. Was he submissive and weak?

By the way, nice avatar. I'm sure you respect her as an equal and for her personality, and her strength right?

          I'd hit it.

You're confusing extreme femnists with moderate feminists. The legacy of feminism includes greater equality for women -- nothing outrageous about that. I shudder when I think where all women would be today if it were not for the feminists of past decades.

How do you like it when people talk about Republicans using only extremists as examples with the presumption that those extremists represent all Republicans as if they were a single, monolithic group?
A lot of Republicans are not racist, but a lot of racists are Republican.

I'd marry Hillary in a heartbeat. Hell, she'll be president soon and that means I'd get to be First Consort.
