So I jump ship in Hong Kong and make my way over to Tibet, and I get on as a looper at a course over in the Himalayas. A looper, you know, a caddy, a looper, a jock. So, I tell them I'm a pro jock, and who do you think they give me? The Dalai Lama, himself. Twelfth son of the Lama. The flowing robes, the grace, bald... striking. So, I'm on the first tee with him. I give him the driver. He hauls off and whacks one - big hitter, the Lama - long, into a ten-thousand foot crevasse, right at the base of this glacier. Do you know what the Lama says? Gunga galunga... gunga, gunga-galunga. So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
Ya know, I can just picture the Dalai Lama lining up a shot, wearing his friggin robes.

No doubt, Arrian. I meant the best part of that quote. I think my favorite quote overall is when the cop is asking "Do you guys know who the **** I am?" and Hockney tears his badge off
You put that together all by yourself or you got a team of monkeys working around the clock on this one?"
I couldn't remember the whole quote... haven't watched it in a while. My favorite character is Benicio Del Toro's character, the whole "flip ya', flip ya like a lid'", then there are all speak english, and he's a what da' fuk... I do that when ever my wife says "what" to me several times...
Truly one of the best movies ever.
PCU wasn't anything like Soul Man... I liked "can you blow me where the pampers is?"
Just one hit, man.
I think the problem most ppl have with Gods and Generals is they were expecting a Gettysburgh type movie, same guy right? When actually this one is about the man, and not the war... a biography of sorts. If you went into it expecting the whole movie to be the Antietam scene from Glory than you would be disappointed... Theres another good one; Glory.
