I'd say it is because people on this site tend to be more educated than average. The right feeds on the ignorant masses through populism, but most people here (who are socialists, social dems, or libertarians) can eat through the rhetoric.

I'm not gonna go through the whole thing, but needless to say, very negative number for the social axis, somewhat less negative a number for the economic axis.

you may have a point there. my posts were more negative as well. Actually I think I've had one positive before. I'd have to dig up the old thread, I can't remember my last score.
