Just remember that Disney doesn't like to rock the boat, but that doesn't mean they're afraid of offending Republicans.
And remember Moore's track record indicates this new film will be a hit and rake in lots of profit which of course is one thing that Disney can't stand: a money-making box office hit.Golfing since 67

Anyways, Moore has vowed to release this movie before the election.
I kind of hope he can do it. Although I think he's a big, fat, idiot."You're the biggest user of hindsight that I've ever known. Your favorite team, in any sport, is the one that just won. If you were a woman, you'd likely be a slut." - Slowwhand, to Imran

By the fact you chose to include only the US gross for Dogma but include worldwide earnings for Bowling to inflate your numbers.By what reasoning do you arrive at the conclusion that FAHRENHEIT 9/11 will make less than DOGMA?I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara
For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

No arguement they were capitalists. The statement was they were oil executives.
I suppose one could make the arguement as Defiant pointed out as owner Willis could be considered an exec. Executive usually infers some form of organization beuracracy tho. And as the movie didn't go into whether that existed you needed to infer from his blue collar background and attitude that most likely that did not exist.
So from a right vs. left wing perspective you have a view that this is a self starter but is not tied to any form of conventional corporate ties.
Couple this with the fact that the anti-establishment themes that run through the movie (hence the reason for the rebellion against the accepted normalcy of Green Peace, the government, and the military). Now one can argue that anti-establishment sentiments are not the province of either the left or the right considereing fringe rightists like the armed militias of Montana etc.
All in all the movie did not impress me as either right or left.
As an aside it is an intersting point on the take that capitalists are an underdog to a point. The little struggling shop keeper is absolutely the underdog and is worthy of admiration and support up until the point he is successful. Once he transforms his interests into a largish company all of a sudden those attributes that propelled him there are the essence of evil incarnate.
As 'everyone'knows from an evil perspective, a capitalist is a great thing up until the point he is successful.

Isn't Moore rich enough to establish his own distribution company? I think he wants to be boycotted so he could use that to bash large corporations.
Anyway, he said in an interview that he encouraged "breaking the law" by people distributing the movie in digital form (I guess he meant in P2P networks). So get your Naomi Klein books and move it or I'll seriously bash your faces in! - Supercitizen to stupid students
