Well, this Gooner was expecting defeat against Man U and Chelsea. Arsenal have been looking tired recently - especially in the second half, Pires had a stinker at Villa Park, and Henry didn't get hooked up last night.

The league run-in will be tough - and I'm concerned that Arsenal will again do their version of the England Cricket Batting Collapse as happened twice last year (mid-season and end-of-seaon). We've had no bad run this year until now - it all depends on whether the spirit holds or is broken. Could go either way - exciting time for Chelsea though, and good luck to them in the Champs League.

the thing is that these two games were the first we've lost to domestic opposition this season (excluding the 'reserves' loss in the carling cup). we should bounce back from this, we're still 4 points clear with a game in hand, so it's a bit early to panic

on a personal note i hope that if we do lose 1 game over the weekend it will be to newcastle. i'll never bloody well hear the end of it if the scousers beat us!

I don’t see Arsenal collapsing in the league. But even so, with the level of football they were playing through the year, this season - full of records or not - can only be considered a disappointment.

30 games unbeaten in the prem is hardly a dissapointment. the last two results have been a dissapointment but we haven't played that badly.

              liking the name btw

PA, yeah but we should do enough, also i live with a scouser, so we bloody well have to avoid defeat!

I live with three Scousers! Well two from Birkenhead and one from Southport, who tries to tell us that's in Lancashire when it's north Mersey side...

I didn't see the match, but just saw the end result. Talking about a huge upset....
BTW, whoever will win the CL now, it will be a big surprise, and none of the teams I'd have opted for.
