I realise, but it seems to be all the kids here who are backing it!

I'm the youngest person who has posted in this thread and I support Doom to the death.

Tch. Doom has pulled away from Mario by 20 votes.

If it wins, I'll definitely support it against Half-Life, by far the most over-rated game in history.

Now I like Half-Life...the Zen levels were weird but the rest of it I enjoyed...

Half Life owns. There can be no argumentation about this.

Uninspired location (a generic 'facility'), bland weapons, too much jumping, a wafer-thin plot and awful final levels added up to a drab, obstacle course of a game.

Give me Deus Ex or Thief any day of the week.

Valid arguments if it were a film or book, alas it isn't...it's a game...

Deus Ex . However, as I said in my previous post, there can be no argumentation about Half-Life's ownage.

Please outline what a 'valid' argument for not liking a game is, Provost.

There shall be no argumentation at all, so whether or not your arguments are valid is not an issue.

Half-life was tremendously fun. Great graphics, and the scripting was often surprising and always interesting. Plus, I loved the level design, because it felt so real.

However, Deus Ex was much, much better. There are very few games that even approach the quality of Deus Ex.

I liked DOOM, but playing Mario 3 ranks among the most fun times I had as a kid.

Bah, I'm older than anyone here, and I throw my vote toward Mario (and freedom!).

All these polls are worthless when they show results immediately.
