          stop blaming everything on religion.

I've had it with you athiest.

Did you ever consider she might be insane? And religion did not cause her to kill her 3 sons?

          that's all

If she is convinced that it's not God but Dissident who told her to kill her sons, would she do it? Doubtful. Therefore, religion must play a part in this.

Extrapolating from that, you are also convinced that any "mainstream" (whatever that means) religious people will not do such a thing? Thus, anybody who does that does that cannot be, uh, "mainstream," regardless of what that person's beliefs are?
You really believe that mainstream Christianity, Judahism, and Islam allow for moral affirmation of killing your children if you believe God tells you to do so?

I'm a pretty powerful person with great influence. I could get her to do it.

I just don't get why people are so hard on religion.

I fail to see how religion caused this woman to kill her kids.

Most of my relatives are religious. When you insult religious people you insult all my relatives.

I don't understand why athiests won't let people be religious and worship whomever they please.

i wasn't making judgement on religion, i was merely pointing out that people who are crazy often have it also run in the family. we don't need that many crazy people; therefore, whether driven by religion or insanity, she did, in a dark, cynical way, do us all a favor.

Religion holds to an objective sense of morality, so if you believed God yet you had a morality contrary to God even after he revealed what he wanted, there is something wrong.

So are you saying morality is in fact fathomable for mere man without the need for god?

Abraham did it, no? If that's not mainstream Judeo-Christianity, I don't know what is.
