This isn't as good as the one I linked a while back. That one weighted the importance of certain things. My top two in that survey were San Francsico and Boston. I need culture more than cheap housing and great weather.

          now for my list:

          Hickory, North Carolina
          Tulsa, Oklahoma
          Greenville, South Carolina
          Chattanooga, Tennessee
          Clarksville, Tennessee
          Athens, Georgia

what the hell? I shouldn't have checked the southeast region. I specifically chose options that would give me regions in southern Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. That's the only places I want to live. Screw the rest of the country

yeah Portland, OR is nice place, very nice nice clean little city with mountains near and ocean next to, nice people, safe, kind of not in a hurry.

My spots according to this loser test:

              Albany, NY
              Carlisle, Pennsylvania
              Ogden, Utah :uhh ohh:
              Spokane, Washington
              Tacoma, Washington
...... it's really trying to get me to Washington throughout the whole results thing..
              In da butt.

Tass, no I think I checked No on the question that said "I need stimulating people and environment for me to be able to go on everyday".. I was too fast with the trigger finger.

No but I've been to Washington State too, it's really nice, I wouldn't maybe move there, but it's a place that I liked to visit a lot. I think for me personally there are only two options that would be realistic, either west coast somewhere, preferrably how do you say it.. northwest? well there.. oregon, washington.. nice. Or then Texas

But other than that I'm not so ready to go so eagerly. Maybe east coast would be ok, but not new york city. Too busy for me.

How are the gay, punk, and lefty scenes? What major universities are there? What museums?

Albuquerque, New Mexico The Pulse of New Mexico
Reno, Nevada Biggest Little City in the World
Santa Fe, New Mexico Jewel of the Southwest
                        Hartford, Connecticut The Insurance Capital
Carson City, Nevada Nevada’s Historic Capital

Hmmm Reno? Gag me, please. That goes for Carson City too - I dislike Nevada, period. Hartford - my parents would be so thrilled if I was to move there.

#14 Cape Cod, Massachusetts Jewel of the New England Coast

Now those places I'd consider it if I had a good job there. Funny, alot of New England towns... but guess being a Maine native has something to do with that.
