I got a "4". Occasional jokes with gay friends, and I have a light preference that my little girl ends up straight - it wouldn't be that big a thing, but I do have that emotional preference if I'm being honest. However, the high-grade part is actually about how much you care about the issues. A non-homophobe libertarian could score much better than a laid-back gay individual who doesn't "strongly" much of anything.

BS test. I just didn't feel strongly about anything, except making jokes about gays. But hey, I make jokes about retards, fat people, foreign people, dead people, puppies in pain, sick babies and violence. So what. Stupid PC test I hate it and I feel angry already. The sky is red.....

i think i feel down on the fact that gay is used as a an insult in my house and that i enjoy a joke. also like spiff i don't have any gay friends, apart from one girl who is bi (and who i do take the mickey out of ), and i'd be surprised to say the least if any of them said they were gay.

But this test doesn't seem to take into account a person who is gay taking the test, as I not only try to find out if some folks are gay, I make gay jokes and call friend "fags" when kidding around. I also answered a 3 for the "do gays deserve whay they get" question, because it's dumb. Deserve what? Good things or bad things? It doesn't seem to specify...

shawnmmcc, not really. I have asked myself that question and I'm just plain ol' boring hetero. I just got mad because making jokes about gays is clearly a question which is negative if you do make jokes. I don't think that qualifies as a good question.

Actually, there are several questions like that. You can be PC and score poorly, too. It's as much a test of your passion over the issues, which can come from a different basis than your sexual preference. Oncle Boris also nicely critiques how portions of it are silly for gays.

However, it WILL successfully measure homophobia. They feel passionately and will make extreme responses. Having argued with the resident homophobe at my work place - he would come close to maxing out. So the test works, but not for what it claims to measure.

No it doesn't. The test is bad. Why should I be labeled as homophobic or non-homophobic anyway. I don't really think gay rights so much. I just think they like the same gender better. That's about it. So now this test asks me how do I feel about gays and little children? Why should I have an opininon about it? Disagree, Agree.. how about just 'yes, so? Ask the question?'. You know, and what does gay people deserve.. do they deserve what's coming at them.. what is coming at them? A meteor? I don't know what's coming at them.

Is homosexuality morally wrong... what kind of question is that anyway, Why should I have an opinion if it's moralyl wrong or not. It really doesn't concern me. If some people wants to be gays or do gay sex, it really isn't something for me to complain about, why would it bother me? It's just none of my business. Do I stronlgy disagree or agree.. I just don't plain care about it too much. Is Strongly Disagreeing that I'm there with guns to stop it, or Strongly agreeing that I want to join the lovemaking too with a videocamera? I just don't have a strong opinion about it, because I don't think it's any of my business.

furthermore, I believe in individual rights. Not gay rights, individual rights. I think everyone should have the right to do what ever they want as long as it's not hurting anyone else. And if someone is doing something that I don't like myself, well.. if they're not hurting anyone, they should be able to do it without me being there with my finger pointing and being all 'stop it you stupidos'. I think there goes the line of what is someone elses business and what is not. It really doesn't effect me if two guys or more wants to have sex in their room. It really doesn't affect me and it's not my business or anyone elses business too.

Individual Rights is where its at, and everyone has them. It's like what is the proper term for black person, and then we can all get offended about it. Who cares, how about just Bill, Michael or what ever. Labeling people to blacks, gays, or anything is just not necessary all the time, and all these people should have their individual rights. I like mine and if someone has problems with my ways of living my life, too bad!!!

"I enjoy the company of gay people" Well, sure I do, but not any differently from straight people. Am I a homophobe when one gay person happens to be a moron?
