Because we know how well those Middle East truces have worked for Israel.
Israel didn't exactly hold up it's own end of the bargain, did it?

Its insight like Saint Marcus' which is why Europe is nothing but a rather unimportant cluster of have-beens, pestering the world with their ridiculous irrelevant opinions.

[O]ther recent targets of Islamic militants have been Turkey, Morocco, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, not one of which supported the war or sent troops into Iraq in the afterwar. Al Qaeda's declaration of jihad had, as its first demand, the withdrawal of American troops from Saudi Arabia. Osama bin Laden does not seem to have noticed, but the troops are gone—yet the jihad continues.

For those who aspire to live in a high cost, high tax, big government place, our nation and the world offers plenty of options. Vermont, Canada and Venezuela all offer you the opportunity to live in the socialist, big government paradise you long for. –Senator Rubio

WE EUROPEANS now equal Germans and French I guess... See what the EU has done! Italy was a big supporter, as was Spain and Poland, as well as other powerhouses. Regardless of whether you support the US in Iraq, the US' war on terror, etc... you are still suseptible to the crimes of terrorist who hate the western world and the western way of life. As long as you are a christian you are their enemy. The sooner you understand that, the sooner you can't start saving yourselves.

No, it refers to the European people, who were overwhelmingly against the war, save for the British.

You forgot to add, "The government of...". Neither in Italy, nor in Spain, nor in Poland, the majority ever supported the war. As far as I know, not even in the UK, at least not for long.

Canada quietly manufactures NATO's munitions, and nobody seems to know or care.

Not to mention providing substantial amounts of oil to the US War Machine.

Italy provided no support at all. Germany provided more support than Italy, although we officially opposed the war. Italy did exactly other way round. They agreed but didn't support.

All Muslim nations. Let the Muslim's deal with their own affairs. You didn't see Muslims jumping in to stop the northern ireland clashed between the protestants and catholics, so why should we step in when various muslim sects clash?

70+% of the Spaniards and Italians were AGAINST the war in Iraq. So yes, we Europeans were against it. Not just the French and the Germans, but also the Italians, Spanish, Belgians, Dutch, etc, etc, etc. We didn't want the war. Yes. WE.
