I've never actually set foot on Africa. The marines from my ship did. But I haven't.

I haven't even been south of the equator . The navy has a special "ceremony" for those who haven't crossed the equator before. But during the Clinton years, the navy was too cheap to even send a nuclear powered ship a few hundred miles out of the way while returning from the persian gulf.
