Did anyone hear of the NFL thinking about changing monday night football to thursday night? And moving sunday games 1 hour later?

I heard about this on my local sports talk radio one day, but checking the website I could find no mention of it.

Anyways. Keyshon to Dallas, and T.O. to Baltimore.

No biggie, I can care less about either team.

Although I still think Dallas needs a running back over a WR. Sure Hambrick is pretty good, but he isn't a serious power running back.

I'm surprized I never heard of him before.

So am I... which is why I wondered how often you followed the sport .

You know about Tomlinson and Jamal Lewis, right?

I would prefer this as I'd get to see more game time

          screw that.

And moving the sunday games 1 hour later would merge the afternoon game into the sunday night game. They would overlap often. And no time for ESPN to air NFL primetime inbetween. I love watching NFL primetime before the sunday night game.

The Eagles had cut a deal with Owens for a new contract and conacted the 49ers when ready. The niners had told them that the deal would be done if the could come to terms with TO and then went ahead and traded him to the Ravens without even contacting the birds. So not only did the birds get screwed out of TO, but they also used all the time on negotiating with To when they could have been using it addressing needs elsewhere.

John Tait, KC OT reportedly in Chicago today, will get an offer. (He's restricted, but KC doesn't have much cap room.)
Would fill a HUGE need, since it's looking like Colombo still not ready to return.

Oh, and the Rams lost Grant Wistrum -- signed with Seattle.

It's rumored in Philly that we are discussing with Bears to send you OT Tra Thomas for a swap of 1st round picks..

Interesting. Hadn't heard that one here in Chi.

BTW, the Lions have signed Center Damien Woody.

BFG without my regular dose of WIP, whats the feeling of this move in Philly? My gut says this is a bad move. Tra Thomas is a decent OT and worthy of more than a move up in the draft.

Even if they need to fill holes at WR seems dealing Tra is questionable.

haha supposedly TO really wanted to goto the eagles. worked out his own trade and everything, then the niners dumped him off on the ravens and TO went berserk.

the niners said they'd rather have him in the afc. but TO promises to fight the trade w/ every dying breath he has. good stuff. I guess TO is going insane as we speak that he isn't going to land with the team he thought he should be able to goto.

the ravens have their hands full.

That would move them up from 28 to the 14 spot. That's actually a pretty big move up the board...

This draft is so heavy with great WRs, I'd suspect they wanted something else.

Not close enough obviously. I know Lewis, but I never heard of Tomlinson.

The feeling in Philly is lukewarm. The failure to sign TO makes drafting a WR more urgent, however subtracting Tra Thomas leaves a void on the O-line that we may not be able to fill. If we move up to the Bears pick @ 14, we are sure to get an impact WR. We'd then have to go for an OT in the 2nd round.

Problem with the Eagles is: They have an O-Line that excels at run-blocking, a backfield with excellent talent, and the most mobile QB in the league and Andy Reid wants to throw the ball 3/4 of the time to a below average WR corps with an O-line that is below average at pass-blocking and a QB with suspect pocket- passer skills.

I say we should keep Tra and change the offense to put more emphasis on the running game scrap the short passing game - essentially scrap the whole West Coast offense approach altogether...

Seems not much has changed in the 2 years I've been away. West coast implementation without the proper pieces.

D and McNabb scrambling is producing the results. Hmmmm.... D and Cunningham scrambling produced results but couldn't get Buddy Ryan over the top either.

The more things change the more things stay the same.

By the by, I agree dealing Tra has more downside to me than upside.
