The GIMP is great. And it's free!!!!! And it has a cool name.
I don't have 350 bucks to spend on Photoshop which I would use merely for fun.

Nope - I installed Fink and I'm thinking of installing the new KDE on my machine. I don't need to install Linux to do that.
