Clique? I think "Pariah" would be a better description. Through the terrifying act of wearing eyeliner and a spot of slap I aroused fear and loathing. Amongst the boys, anyway. It suited me just fine.

Ditto and I'll add that the only picture of me in my yearbook was the one that had my name and address in it.

Knowing what I know now, if I had high school to do over again I would cause a lot of trouble for those cliques. I would make my statement of individuality known and attack those foolish groups of losers. Nah.....on second thought I'd probably fly under the radar again............

Independent but with friendly relations with the cool clique, the heavymetal clique and the intellectual/geek clique. Enemy of the "fraternity types" clique and the militarist/microsoft airplane simulation clique.

I hung out with skater-types. Still do, since I know most of them from high school, though most don't skate anymore and just dress like it.

I wasn't part of any cliques, just hung out with a small group of people.

There were a few cliques in my class (of over 700 students), but most people were not part of one of them..too busy drinking coffee, stressing themselves about academics and getting into Ivy leagues.

Hmm, I suppose I was in the "athlete" clique though the only real two separate groups there were were the skaters/potsmokers and the preppie/coke users. I belonged to neither of those as i spent all my free time and periods playing basketball. I suppose that as i was dating the head cheerleader and was basketball captain, i'd have been chief jock in an american school

Hmmm, you appear to be the starring member of the jock clique.

Of course, most of those guys live short unexciting lives after highschool. Most become used car salesmen, or the victims of nerdy serial killers (see above posts) out for revenge on the jocks who stuffed them into lockers in highschool.

Sport wasn't big in my school, though we ended up with a few olympians in my year (swimming, tennis). It was all about drugs, which i didn't do.

I am afraid I have carried the jockdom through to college though and have recently upped it back to school levels again. But somehow i combine this with a Comp Sci degree and playing MMORPGs... What is the combo between a nerd and a jock called?

Our jocks were Nerds, so you can be a sporty nerd... being a jock is not only about being sports driven, but a certain mindlessness as well.
